Our last stop on the clean beauty tour is today in Seattle on New Day Northwest. Seattle loves all things clean and sustainable, so we are excited to share some new products from the tried and true and new brands that are setting new standards.

Starting off with the OG of Clean Beauty:

MyCHELLE Dermaceuticals

My first experience with LANO happened while nursing my son. I was looking for something so pure to apply that my son was safe to consume if there was residue left behind. I ended up using the Multipurpose Superbalm EVERYWHERE, and I cannot tell you how many people I have hooked on this incredible brand! 

Brand Philosophy:

Another brand I discovered as a new momma is Babo. The brand sent me a sweet gift after Ace was born, and I’ve been hooked ever since. When they say that their products are designed for the whole family, they mean it. I use the body washes and lotions on both of us. The brand is pure and simply couldn’t be more eco-friendly.

LIGHTWATER
This gorgeous small batch brand wants to change how you apply skincare and eliminate all those bottles. 
Brand Philosophy: Good-bye double-dip jars, hello fresh daily doses. Our 100% fresh active ingredients deliver optimum efficacy, and our clean, microbiome-friendly formulations are ideal for all skin. The end result? Skin is balanced, nourished, and healthy. It’s beyond skin care. It’s skin nutrition. We take a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to our packaging by reducing, reusing, and recycling. Our daily doses reduce resources and are fully recyclable.  Flexible packaging requires 35% to 75% less material than rigid packaging does and utilizes fewer resources – such as water and energy – during production and transportation, reducing carbon footprint. Plus, while bottles and tubes utilize a mixture of materials (i.e., lid, dispenser, pump) which can impair recyclability, our daily doses are fully recyclable. We provide complimentary shipping to ensure they’re recycled through our recycling partner. Our resealable pouches are 60% compostable, breaking down naturally within 12 weeks. The remainder oxo-degrades over 5-10 years vs. the estimated 1,000 years for normal plastic. We utilize plant-based components that absorb greenhouse gas CO2 through natural plant respiration and reduce the use of finite fossil fuel and mineral resources. We are constantly in search of even more eco-friendly options.

TWICE
Until I met TWICE, clean toothpaste brands never really delivered a bright smile for me. This new oral wellness brand does much more than just brighten your smile. All the products are plant-based and actually really, really work. The brand goes beyond just being plant-based and has a wonderfully clean footprint. But really, that whitening pen really really works!
